Cool, crisp fall days mean only one thing, hunting season is underway.
For some, hunting season is an annual group tradition with family and friends. For others, it’s an expedition and opportunity to learn new stalking and spotting techniques. For all your hunting goals, get your ATV geared up for the stalk on opening day – you’ll want to be ready for every great encounter.  

Ensure a safe hunt: Check that your license is still valid, get all required tags and/or seals for the game you wish to hunt, stay up to date with local wildlife acts and regulations, and always ensure you’re hunting within season.

It provides information about hunting licences and fees, as well as up-to-date regulations and seasons for each game species. Prepare Your ATV for Hunting Season


If your ATV starts fine right now, here are some things to check before you head out.

  • Check air filter (air box clean, filter well oiled)
  • Will the tires hold air?
  • Check engine oil level and condition
  • Check final drive fluid levels and condition (drive chain adjusted and lubed)
  • Check for torn axle boot
  • Check all brakes and controls
  • Check lighting
  • Check battery condition
  • Check battery terminals (tight, no corrosion)
  • Check or replace sparkplug
  • Check nuts, bolts and fasteners
  • Check winch operation (if you don’t have one, don’t you think its about time to get one?)
